The Cedars of Lebanon.

The painting of the ‘Cedars of Lebanon’ illustrates the poem, ‘The Glory of Lebanon’. This is the 3rd Spiritual Place of Abundance.

THE GLORY OF LEBANON. (3rd Spiritual Place of Abundance.)

I ascend to the heights of Lebanon,

A retreat from the heat of the plains,

Exploring the high places of Adonai

Where His majesty and glory is displayed.

Those who dwell in Lebanon’s sweet shadows

Shall return exhilarated and revived.

Filled with the strength of the cedars

With roots that strike deep and wide.

Washed by the fountains of gardens,

Its living waters and streams,

And beautified like the sanctuary of flowers,

Aromatic shrubs, and bowers.

I am firmly implanted like a tree of Lebanon.

The river of Life floods my desert places.

My attire is imbued with the scent of the trees,

The myrtle, lavender, and odoriferous reeds.

Just as the cedar, pine, and the box tree praise Him,

So do I clap my hands and thank the Author of Life,

Who has reinstated my equilibrium.

I am growing into a fruitful tree. I rejoice!

Mount Carmel

It shall blossom abundantly, and rejoice even with joy and singing: the glory of Lebanon shall be given unto it, the excellency of Carmel and Sharon, they shall see the glory of the Lord, and the excellency of our God. ~ Isaiah 35.2. KJV
